Today, I'd like to focus on the HOW part of this puzzle. Specifically, I'd like to talk about prepping for success. Lets face it, for most of us, life is busy. When life is busy, we have less time to spend in the kitchen. With less time in the kitchen it's very easy to eat out and/or buy packaged foods. This will happen regardless of how strong your WHY and WHAT is. For example, you may stick to your gluten-free diet but find yourself eating plenty of gluten-free chips and cookies (not the healthiest foods).
The single most powerful tool I know of to successfully cook more (even when you're super busy) is to prep for success. Spend two hours baking a chicken, roasting veggies, making broth, cooking rice, etc. and you'll be able to whip up a meals during the week in 5 - 15 minutes ... guaranteed. Without those two hours of prep, a 15-minute meal can easily take an hour.
Today, I'd like to share with you a page from my Create Health program ... the Prep for Success page. I do hope you find a little inspiration here. If you're in Durango, join me on June 25th for a live Prep for Success demonstration.
